2016 Citizen of the Year

2016 Citizen of the Year Geralynn Roma and Lifeguard Extraordinaire Santino Roma

Mrs. Geralynn Roma is the 2016 Citizen of the Year. Mrs. Roma's dedication in the Beachwood Municipal Alliance and the Mayor's Wellness Campaign is second to none. Mrs. Roma's passion for her community is shown in all the wonderful programs that she's created such as the Family Fun Night's; the Alliance Youth Dances; Community Day with Mayor Roma; the Mayor's Wellness Yoga and Zumba classes; the Healthy Cooking Classes and so many more wonderful programs for the Community of Beachwood. Her volunteerism and personal time is much appreciated by all who part take in these and other programs.

Lifeguard, Santino Roma, has been recognized for saving a youth this summer at the Beachwood Beach. Santino's quick actions saved a child who went under the water and was unable to swim back. Taking on the position as Lifeguard carries much responsibility with it. Santino proved it to be true. Pictured above are the Roma Family and Council.
