The Borough of Beachwood has contracted with the Associated Humane Societies, Inc. (Popcorn Park) for Animal Control Services. The Borough feels the AHS will handle animal control services in a more expedient and professional manner than in the past.
You are required by Law to License your Pets during the month of January of each year. Penalty fees go into effect on February 1.

Proof of Rabies inoculation is required when securing a license.
Each year the Ocean County Board of Health and the Borough of Beachwood conduct a Rabies Clinic, which is FREE.

"Free Rabies Vaccination - Due to unforseen circumstances, the Borough will not hold a Free Rabies Clinic in 2023.

NO PERSON OWNING, KEEPING OR HARBORING ANY DOG SHALL ALLOW IT TO CREATE A NOISE DISTURBANCE ACROSS RESIDENTIAL REAL PROPERTY LINES OF ANY NEIGHBORING PROPERTY. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS SECTIION, A NOISE DISTURBANCE FROM A BARKING DOG MAY BE DEFINED AS THAT CREATED BY A DOG BARKING CONTINUOUSLY FOR TEN (10) MINUTES, OR INTERMITTENTLY FOR THIRTY (30) MINUTES.
