Local 253
Our Mission
PBA Local 253 is dedicated to serving the members of our community. We are a local
branch of the New Jersey State PBA, serving the borough’s of Beachwood and Pine
Beach, New Jersey. The members of PBA 253 are committed to providing the public
with the highest quality of law enforcement. Through your donations, we are able to
assist numerous local organizations as well as sponsor several community based events.
Our members volunteer their personal time to organize and hold such events, and do so in
an effort to make our communities better places.

DOES NOT USE TELEPHONE SOLICITATION
If you donate to a telephone solicitor the money is not going to your local police!
Use the following steps to deal with telephone solicitors:
- Ask what organization the caller represents.
- Ask what percentage of the donation the organization receives.
- If the caller is rude or persistent, ask to speak with their supervisor.
- Ask for a return call phone number and the callers name or operator number.
- If this does not satisfy you, call the Charitable Hotline for Consumer Affairs at
973-504-6215.
- Advise the caller you want to be placed on their “DO NOT CALL LIST”
