NOTICE TO RESIDENTS
EMERGENCY SNOW INFORMATION
All residents of Beachwood be
advised! No parking in the street during
snow. If your vehicle is in the street your vehicle will be issued a summons and
towed at the vehicle owner's expense. Borough
ORD: 7-3.7
Electric and/or gas powered scooters can NOT be legally operated upon public roads or highways. All vehicles within this State must be registered, insured and operated by a licensed driver. These scooters fall under the definition of motor vehicles under State Statute Title 39:1-1 and are therefore subject to all motor vehicles laws. The scooters however do not meet the requirement to be registered in New Jersey as per the Motor Vehicle Commission; therefore they can not be legally operated upon public roads.

To reduce the impact of crime on the inhabitants and adjudication of persons involved in criminal acts. To regulate and control the flow of traffic in order to facilitate the movement o.1 2rsons and goods within our borough. Members of the department actively pursue the cooperation of every resident in an effort to create a police/community partnership to improve the quality of life in Beachwood."
Additionally, towards this goal, the Beachwood Police Department is committed to ensuring officers of the finest quality. A high priority is placed on initial and continued training for all employees.
Beachwood Police Department Thanks Jimmy from Beachwood Auto Body for the new
paint on several older vehicles. Beachwood Auto Body donated the paint and labor
for the new police car design. The Police Department would also like to thank
the sign shop at the Toms River Schools walnut street complex for the material
for the new door logos. More photos on the way!
